I have felt defeated since early November. My focus had been celebrating freedom. But on January 20th, I realized my plans for the future of Because_Now_Can were facing new obstacles. I had plans for a scholarship, for a irl community. I don’t know how I can fund it now. But I know I can’t give up

Traditional roles create dependence and a power imbalance. This traps victims. Good men don’t need women to be dependent and isolated in order to be good men.
Please let go of the illusion. Abusers will seek isolation and dependence. Abuse wasn’t less frequent in the past. It was more normalized
