From rough to fine sketch – that comes easy to me. But to do the decisions needed to finalize the artwork is the hard part for me.  Visions are easy the easy part, implementation however takes endurance and commitment. What do you prefer? The brainstorming part or the finetuning part?

"Sunset Sea-ker" or "Sunset Seeker"? When a spelling mistake looks better than the correct version, I have a problem… So back to finetuning—those chunky “E”s needed a bit attention. Please tell me I'm not the only who does these funny typos sometimes only to notice them in the "final version :D

I love to study how the stroke of the marker or brush actually looks. That's Why I start with the marker or brushpen. I might not make a good calligrapher, but that way I'm able to transport the authentic brushscript characteristics into my lettering artwork.

This is for everyone who loves tropical patterns! I think I never become tired of palm leaves. Watch me draw these cute and playful leaves and turn them into a textile pattern!
