Also it's way easier to make the background look good if the character is purely black/dark grey, or white/light grey, cause colors and patterns make the character stick out less from the background.

I realized a really bad habit I've developed the past 1-2 years is making the background too simple to save time, I think detailed backgrounds are probably a big factor in how much people like an image?

Tbh I probably won't do legends ZA, It's so expensive and I strongly doubt it'll have anywhere near enough content to justify the price. Also the only good thing about the pokemon series as of late has been the designs of the pokemon. The gameplay sucks because there's no difficulty settings
