This year’s destination race is the Avenue of the Giants half marathon in May, 2025. We discovered this race when we traveled to Northern CA in 2017. Can’t wait to run through the redwoods. #destinationrace #runningadventures

Years ago, my running coach introduced me to the concept of the destination race: taking a vacation for the purpose of running a cool race. I’ve done this every year since 2016. Below is the 2017 Napa to Sonoma half marathon. A beautifully scenic race.
