I’ve been watching the House committee meeting and they are spineless. They want to pass an amendment to remove the section where the senators can be paid for surveillance but they are afraid of what the Senate will do.
They are willing to let them pay themselves but not give us healthcare.

It is so obvious that the Republican plan is to do nothing. They will keep the government closed forever, if need be. They are not going to help average Americans with healthcare. They removed the subsidies in the BBB. They also cut SNAP and Medicaid. This shutdown is their line in the sand.

The last thing we need is a nuclear arms race. We have the most unstable people in control of our country right now. Trump has proven himself to act first, think later. Those around him don’t give thought or guidance. They are simply yes men. Congress is MIA. This is a terrible idea.
