The best way to release the hostages is probably to make a deal w Hamas. I don't see how Israel will be able to free them by bombing Gaza or even through a ground invasion bc I have doubt that it will succeed. The Israeli policy is more dedicated to killing Gazans than getting the hostages back

Hamas' killing of civilians saw a lot of support from ppl online saying that they deserved it bc they were colonizers but interestingly enough not even Hamas thinks this argument is legitimate since they are focused on denying that they target civilians in the first place

in less than a week Israel has killed more Palestinians than throughout the entirety of Cast Lead, there are no signs of this stopping in fact it is likely to get worse. We need a ceasefire now

Western aid being taken away from the Palestinian government (the PA) will only serve to weaken the PA and hasten its collapse. Let me preface I'm no fan of the PA, but in terms of understanding the coherence of a policy decision the math ain't mathing up right now.

I never believed I could use my platform to change things, I knew it was never possible, but damn rn I can't help but feel I'm failing the people of Palestine rn w how little I am doing. In each global tragedy I feel this, in Armenia, and Ukraine etc. all I can do is watch :(
