Clubs being owned by opaque firms presents a major risk. When added to the world of fixers, enablers and questionable sponsors it becomes clear that football clubs are vulnerable to those with suspect wealth to hide. It took me nearly two years to report on Suella Braverman's use of private email accounts in government.
