When rental housing supply increases, asking prices decrease. We're thrilled to see more renters be able to find homes in the communities they love, at prices they can more easily afford.

A new deal for workers means better care for long-term care residents. Over the next two years, we're bringing 5,000 unionized jobs into one provincewide agreement, along with higher wages and better benefits.

Need a charge? BC Hydro's new pilot project uses electric school buses to store enough clean energy to power dozens of homes during peak times or emergencies. That means more reliable power for families, and less dependence on diesel.

Since 2018. our BC NDP govt has funded new playgrounds at more than 300 schools across the province - with at least one playground in every single school district. Because being a kid should be fun.
