I know people are upset with the media. But just one positive example of the difference journalists can make: @nysfocus.bksy.social exposed that NY never implemented a law to reimburse kidney donors. The Health Department @nydoh.bluesky.social just did, 3 years later.

NYT is trying to get Vol 2 of Jack Smith's report (MAL/Classified Docs) thru FOIA in this lawsuit. DOJ denied the request on 2/5 & NYT is taking an admin appeal of that decision. If (when) they lose, they will come back to the court to try and get the report. s3.documentcloud.org/documents/25...
