Docs, AL Language changelog, BCLE videos, and what not ... so much to learn about what's new in BC 27 for developers!

But don't worry - I've combined it all-in-one in my new blog:

With the tech changing every week, one thing stays the same.

I hate waiting on progress bars.

I just finished an intense week of testing something I've been curious about: whether different approaches to "knowledge engineering" actually improve GitHub Copilot's effectiveness with Business Central development.

Three months ago I was sitting in conferences wondering "why does everyone think AI is transforming business when it's basically fancy autocomplete for me?"

Today my team actively wants our AI infrastructure rolled out to every project.

Part 2 of my AI transformation series is live! 🚀

The breakthrough that changed everything: Model Context Protocol (MCP)

Think of it this way: Agents are like having a boundless energy junior developer, ready to help but maybe fuzzy on the details.

I just documented something that surprised me: how I went from AI skeptic to organizational transformation advocate in 90 days.

Started with "Why is everyone saying AI transforms business when it's just annoying autocomplete?"

Ended with my team asking to roll this out to ALL our projects. 🧵

I *loathe* how Teams notifications work. You either pair them to Windows Notifications or their default mode. And if you're in multiple tenants, good luck NOT getting a Teams notification while you're on DND.

Not an April Fool's joke, despite the perplexing title. I'll be speaking at DoK Nordic this year. See you in May!

Oh gosh. I'm very proud to say that I'm speaking at @bctechdays.com this year. I'm a little nervous because I think it's an amazing topic, but I also know it's design pattern is brand new to me, so partly this is to see *how* it works for the broader community in the year ahead.

Please do keep in mind that all the "news" right now about Syria is talking about killings of Assad loyalists, but there are many credible reports that are NOT talking about the slaughter of many innocents in this bloodlust.

And the world is back to "No thanks" to refugees.

#msdyn365bc world help request - is there any docs/blogs about restoring a SaaS created bacpac that aren't 4+ years old and not fragments of scripts? I have the file, so the script needn't download it.

I'm really struggling to get a bacpac restored, using either in Docker SQL or Host SQL.
