Seems like the SRV3/YTT subtitles are coming back. Not saying the tweet I quoted was the reason, but typically YouTube doesn't listen to user pushback that often. See: The Removal of Dislike count, among other changes they have made in the past.

Also, Hololive/Cover, a Corporation, may actually have a bit of a sway when they address the fan's concerns to Google/YouTube, also a Corporation. Hololive does have easy access to re-instate their talent's channels/videos if they accidentally get false-flagged by a moderation-bot, after all. 2/2

It's bad for everyone, there's no need to slander the VTuber community over this. The removal of subtitles on Hololive videos also removes accessibility for understanding who the speaker/singer is in different languages with color-coding. It's not about "Graphics on my VTuber titties". 1/2

despite knowing the risks. Hololive's only option (outside of curing Meniere's disease themselves, which good luck with that) was to bar her from doing what she wanted at the time for the sake of her health. Okay, great, but then Kanata couldn't make the projects she wants to. No talent freedom 5/

I already covered it in my post yesterday, but I think it bears repeating... What was Hololive supposed to do in this situation? Geniuinely, to those that think they could have done better, I am open to ideas, because they already advised Kanata to take breaks and less projects. She pressed on 4/

...Work reduction and breaks aren't absolute problem solvers. Sometimes, people have other goals and ambitions. In cases like Kanata, Mumei, and Ao, it's literally their health conditions that prevents them from continuing not just Idol work, but even streamer work as a video gamer. 3/3

Like, unless if Cover starts going into health and sciences to find cures for the talents with health conditions, there's not much they CAN do. Yes, they can give them time off to recover, and they actually do advise talents (even workaholics like Mori Calliope) to do so, but in some cases... 2/

With the announcement of Forza Horizon 6 being set in Japan, I'm hyped as hell, and hopefully they can collaborate with Hololive for some fitting music. Carbonated Love by IRyS comes to mind, but hopefully it isn't limited to just that.
