Fantastic article
Ever been in a meeting that fucking sucks? Rhetorical question.

Unfortunately, getting people to what you want requires that you tell them about it — and that's a meeting. Trying to get rid of meetings simply creates a dysfunctional work environment. The only fix is to design the meetings right.
This meeting could have been a picnic
Well-designed meetings are just as important to our work as well-designed artifacts.

This simply points out the absurdity of capitalism and how anyone with an economics degree might as well have a degree in astrology or alchemy.

It's fucking quackery with a bunch of convoluted "rules" made up by people with too much capital to gain even more capital.
We now have multiple visualizations of this phenomenon from various news organizations. Which one is the best?

The last few songs that I can't get out my head for the past week or so:
- Choral Chambers theme from Silksong
- Guts theme from Berserk 1997
- Mr Kitty - After Dark
- Enlightenment theme from White Lotus

All of these are in the Dorian mode. I think I have a specific preference.

Hey @shew.dev! 2 questions for turborepo:

1. What would be the best way to run a script as a side-effect after a task is done? Kinda the inverse of the `dependsOn` key.

In the market for a new phone but everything seems to be garbage.

- iPhone is a horrible choice if you're in the Google ecosystem, are a web developer, or are living outside the US
- Pixel 10 Pro has bad perf and cameras. Most features are US-focused AI slop

Tried using @vscode.dev copilot Agent mode for the third day in a row.

No matter the agent, almost every time it starts looping on itself until it eventually shits itself by timing out or saying "there I did it" while leaving multiple files as something that's not even valid syntax.

Is it possible to set up a local global turborepo cache? Like what pnpm does?

Using mise-en-place, I set the cache location to:

TURBO_CACHE_DIR = { value = "{{env.HOME}}/.turbo/cache", tools = true }

And the files do get cached, but different worktrees are unaware of it.
