It’s reached a balmy 16 degrees Fahrenheit here today so my duck friends are here, happily decimating the platform feeders

Awake very early and everything is snow-blanketed and frozen. I am thinking about how briefly we’re on this beautiful trusty rock hurtling through space and how horribly we treat one another. There are terrible humans murdering people in broad daylight, others lying about it.
