Willow Class really enjoyed setting up a demonstration of our Curious Quest so far for their parents, they loved telling the story so far and sharing their writing. Parents loved the Dragon Book. The Bridge of Doom and Sea of Doom looked amazing

Hazel class really embraced the theme of belonging as part of mental health week. They created maps that helped them recognise the people and places where they feel valued, safe and themselves.

How long was a Diplodocus? 30 metres long apparently! Apple Class loved the opportunity to measure in metres and use standard and non standard units to measure their dinosaur toys. #NumberDay

Hazel class parents enjoyed getting stuck in with some problem solving today as part of number day. Along with the children, they had to show a lot of resilience in the task! 😀

The children in Willow made pentominoes - 12 different 5 square shapes. They worked together in pairs and had great maths fun.

Cherry Class have really enjoyed our cricket coaching from Bath Cricket Club this term. The children have loved learning batting and fielding skills in a variety of games and challenges!

Hazel class have been very lucky this term. They’ve been treated to a cricket coach & Bath FC coaches! They’ve enjoyed learning new handball skills this term!

Cherry Class have been learning about capacity this week. We counted how many cubes would fit into each container and ordered them accordingly. We then tested it today by seeing how much water came out when we poured it onto Olivia & Joe!

Oak and Maple were very lucky to have Batch Gueye in to run an African workshop. We sang two songs and learnt some African dances. It was great fun and great to see the pupils put so much energy into it.

Well done to the three pupils in Maple class who came into Apple class to share their expertise on dinosaurs and fossils. We were shown an impressive powerpoint and the children got to ask questions. Thank you

We were delighted to welcome Claire into Cherry to tell us all about Antarctica. She showed Cherry and Willow amazing photos of the animals that she saw and shared some fabulous stories!

Cherry and Willow classes have been working really hard in Dance Club so far this term. They are really enjoying learning our new dance ‘I just can’t wait to be king’.
