Remix producer, bassist/programmer at The Glass House Museum, the human side of CODENAME:LOLA, World Goth Day co-founder and occasional podcast/internet radio show putter-togetherer of The Fadeout Session.
And just like that, my tenure on Twitter (est. Apr 11, 2009, 3:13pm) has been discontuned.

I'm a full time Threader/Blueskyer now.

Today I learned that Chas 'n' Dave played on Eminem's hit single 'My Name Is'.

They were session musicians on Labi Siffre's track 'I Got The...' which is the foundational sample upon which Eminem based his track.

I have no idea what to do with that knowledge.

this is a pertinent article, though the irony of using AI to create the image above the article itself is both inescapable and rather funny, at least in my mind.

Bandcamp AI ban: Artists report deleted catalogs
Side-Line reports how Bandcamp’s new AI music ban and suspicion-based takedowns leave artists reporting deleted accounts, lost catalogs and false positives.

It's possible to be left wing *and* want to know the full facts instead of relying on memes for information.

It's totally fine to be angry at the decline of humanity but balance & willingness to learn is essential for a healthy empathy.

Every single atrocity the trump administration commits against its citizens is a reason why reform must never be allowed to win a single election ever again.
I said what I said.

Cankles McBonespur needs to fuck off and stop breathing.

He has no right to negate the hundreds of lives NATO troops lost being up on that front line when the only time he's been at the front line of anywhere was when they were handing out Big Macs.

Note; article is from 2005:

A 12yr old girl in Ethiopia was abducted & abused by a group of men but was rescued by lions when they heard her crying and protected her until the police came.

The 'man vs bear' argument has been retrospectively upgraded to man vs lion.

Ethiopian girl reportedly guarded by lions
A 12-year-old girl who was abducted and beaten by several men was found being guarded by three lions who apparently had chased off her captors, a policeman said Tuesday.

I'm just saying that 'Don't Stop Believin'', 'With Or Without You' and 'Pink Pony Club' have more or less the same chord progression.
Do with that knowledge what you will, pub covers bands.

This is entirely the worst timeline that we're living in to not worry about what illness that SpaceX astronaut has brought back from the ISS this morning.

Seems like some sketchy Weyland Yutani bullshit right here.

A little while back I produced this cover for a compilation, but it was only possible due to the wonderful Maetheyliah, the singer of The Danse Society who stepped in last minute to bring the song to life with her almost gymnastic vocals.

There's a bloke in town who put a sofa & matching armchair on his front lawn next to a sign that read 'free to good home'.

They were in really nice condition, but I decided against it because you shouldn't take suites from strangers.

Watching the occasional nu metal video come up on the WantMyMTV website reminds me that vocalists really did hold the mic like that and I feel so bad for the venue sound guys during that period in musical history.

'Sir, that's not how mics work. Please stop that.'
