Thistle and Scotland fan, music lover and avid collector of things such as football cards & magazines, pop postcards, film postcards and a whole bunch of cds.
Final postcards of the day. Deanna Durbin's popularity in the UK was such that I have more postcards of her than anyone else. Nan Grey appeared alongside her in two films: Three Smart Girls (1936) & Three Smart Girls Grow Up (1939).
Nan was married to singer Frankie Laine for over 40 years.

Probably the weirdest football lot I have put on eBay. Not sure why I felt I needed a collection of Soviet Union football books. Selling only for a tenner though they cost me a bit more

Post an album that was important to you when you were 11...
Maybe I've misunderstood the assignment.

Bought this today for 50p. It seems to have had an intersting history. First of all someone bought it brand new and sealed but never played it before donating it to charity. This is where the Gift Aid sticker comes in. So once more it was bought without being played.

Popped over to Largs yesterday for lunch. Didn't find any 7" singles but picked these up. Beck was £1, the others were 20p. #weekendsingles

So, as some of you may recall I saw in the New Year playing singles with a dozen members of my family. This year I plan to do an all Scottish line up. So picking up some odds n sods over the last wee bit. Had to involve cd singles as the 7" would cost too much. #weekendsingles

One for #cdfriday, a good compilation but some of the tracks I have elsewhere such as the theme song by the Bodeans. I don't have Stevie Nicks version of Free Fallin' which is pretty good nor the Chaka Khan / Bruce Hornsby song. Then there's Rusted Root, Rickie Lee Jones & more. #cdsky

Ok this week's buys, a bit more than the three last week although I seem to have added the Proclaimers & Camel ones from last week in here too. Sadly all were 99p or £1 so a wee bit of cost with this lot #cdfriday
