Don’t quite understand that hammer throw by the US. I probably would have played this, seems like more reward with limited risk. Sure, you could hit it wrong and then Germany scores 1 but then you are tied and have hammer in the 10th.

Spartans were 1.5 point favorites. I’m all for a court storm but I’m not sure this is worthy. This may be a season long court storm because all their biggest wins have come on the road.

This has aged kind of poorly but I’m not mad about it.
You know how you can have those teams that can get hot and cold but they are just a blast to watch? This Badger team is not that. They are infuriating.

And curlers are super nice and welcoming. Even if you suck they are just happy you’re there trying to learn the game. Great folks and you’ll probably get a tator tot hot dish recipe while you’re there.
It can't be overstated what an incredible third space curling clubs are. You don't even need to fork often or at all to be a big part of it!
