Here is what I've been up to the past few months! I've decided to switch development of Dotty back to GBstudio with a new gameplay style. Honestly, Godot is not my thing, and I am much more accustomed to working with GBstudio. I hope you like it so far!

I was about to offer free art to a retro account so they could stop using AI slop as their pfp and banner, but I guess even if they accepted my offer, they would just keep promoting games also using slop sooo 🤷♂️

Had some folks say this is condescending or passive-aggressive, so let me clarify:
I don't think its depressing bc this dude is an obvious hack— the opposite! These assholes are getting better about hiding their lies, it makes sense that you'd need other pixel artists to point out the tells. (1/2)

Been saying it but pixel art has been used as a way to launder AI for awhile. @thisislux.bsky.social wrote an entire guide on how they used it to replace their entire workflow, and because they did so in 2023, people didn't clock it and dozens of copycats started appearing.
Not to continue stirring up negativity, but it's so depressing how many people are still following this AI "pixel artist"
