It has been a pleasure to find a original postcard of Bardney. The view is of the Walled Kitchen Garden at the back of the Manor. You can see the roof tops of the glasshouses, which were 3/4 of a mile long. These housed vines and other exotic fruits. #manorhouse #restorstion #walledkitchengarden

Sorting seeds out today🌱 as the ground is frozen outside. Each draw is named monthly and we put the seeds for each month in the draws. A tower for flowers and one for vegetables! Simple then you don’t forget when to sow.🌱 #winterready #gardeninghacks #vegetableseeds #flowerseeds

We have lifted the dahlias today, they have been cleaned and ready to be stored for over winter. To achieve this we’ve covered them with sheep fleece, and nice and snuggly for winter. #dahlias#wintergarden #storingdahlias
