The reason I always kept my own name (I tried for a minute to use my ex's name but was never comfortable with it) was because I've always been a feminist and there was a loss somehow associated with surrendering my name for someone else's. Stop the SAVE act.

Every day I wake up dreading the news I'm likely to see on one hand and eagerly looking for the news I want on the other. So far, dread is fulfilled and anticipation sadly dissipates.
