CIS & MaiNLP Group picture at EMNLP 2025! 🤩 🤗 (1/3)

While I sadly 🥲 won't be at EMNLP this year myself, please do reach out to any of our members for a chat if you are interested in our research!

We also co-organize and participate in some great workshops at EMNLP:

📑 Our CoT2EL paper will be presented as an oral at #EMNLP2025 in Suzhou!

Humans often disagree on labels. Can a model's own reasoning (CoT) help us understand why? We developed a new method to extract these insights. Come join us!

How do language models memorize noise while reason impressively well?

Our #EMNLP2025 (poster, Nov 5, 11:00-12:30, Hall C) paper shows that memorization reuses internal mechanisms of generalization, even when they are not related to each other!
