I recently joined Pratt Institute’s Oral History Project, reflecting on my time there: from studying Illustration in the 1960s to teaching Visual Concepts (1976–84).

In 1977, Strathmore featured one of my classes in an ad celebrating my role as both artist and educator. It was fun🖋️📒

In 1996, Design Today (Korea) featured my work, including Picture in Picture (1993) and Similar but Not the Same (1991), noting my shift into digital. As I said then: these tools “contain capacities that must be evolved and explored further.”

In 1970 I worked with Caterine Milinaire on a series of fashion spreads published in the New York Magazine. Looking back I always smile on how different my creation looks from "fashion," with surrealism figures living among them.

A photo of me in my studio back in the 90s (perhaps?). Behind me is a copy of my 1986 poster for “Women and Technology conference” at the Women's Studio Workshop. The poster was created on a Mac Plus, Xerox printed, and colored using silkscreen.

My early computer work, Hand Memory (1990), is on the cover of VERBUM magazine, vol 4.3 published in the winter of 1990/1991. Hand Memory was first made in 1986 in Japan on an NEC computer, and then printed with a machine that was the prototype of inkjet printers.
