Depuis le 15 avril, j'ai le plaisir de présenter au musée de Bernay notre nouvelle exposition temporaire. En 2025, à l'occasion des 1000 ans du marché, nous nous intéressons à la production textile du territoire, et partons à la rencontre des drapiers, toiliers, teinturiers, fileuses, etc.

Standing out amongst the ground floor cases is the dramatic Hulu Nēnē dress by Hawaiian designer Manaola Yap. Hulu Nēnē means Hawaiian goose feathers. The design is made by ohe kāpala, a form of traditional bamboo stamping with each pattern representing a design found in nature. bit.ly/4k5VPQp
