February release! So many miss Rachel's voice challenging toxic evangelical patriarchal networks. She brought hope & forged communities who joined her in her efforts. In an era we know she'd be an unrelenting presence & guiding light, this looks like a thought-provoking read.

Partridge’s proposal is lazy, provocative, & politically illiterate. Repealing the 19th Amendment would require a two-thirds supermajority vote in both chambers of Congress and ratification by three-fourths of the state delegations...a political impossibility.

No, feminism isn't fixed by repealing the 19th Amendment
While I am likewise concerned about young women s poor voting patterns, Partridge s proposal is lazy, provocative, and politically illiterate

For those we know who have left biblical patriarchal/complementarian churches that subjugate women, or MAGA/Christian nationalist churches that have no resemblanceto Jesus, but who still long for a faith that matters, Beyond Deconstruction looks like a helpful resource.

@beliefnet @foxnews how about
profiling faithful, reputable male/female theologians & scholars who lead the deeply biblical movement of Christian feminism in the footsteps of the amazing first wave feminists after your coverage of Carrie Gress's, Something Wicked?

This never ceases to amaze me people are still asking if she was a prostitute centuries after Pope Gregory confused the Marys. A 2018Times of Israel article also was titled "Long Maligned, Mary Magdalene now seen as Stalwart Disciple". 👀 #tellherstory

Was Mary Magdalene Wife of Jesus? Was Mary Magdalene a Prostitute?
When novelists and screenwriters try to insert something salacious into the life of Jesus, they focus on one woman: Mary from Magdala.
