We just watched Wake Up Dead Man. Firstly - I would let Josh O'Connor do unspeakable things to me. Secondly - I actually think that was my favourite of the Knives Out movies, even though I'd seen a lot of middling reviews.

I read 43 books this year - not the most I've ever done but I deliberately tried to read longer books this year rather than aiming for a numerical target. These were some particular highlights!

Christmas dinners (as with all roast dinners) just don't photograph well but we both agreed this is probably the best Christmas dinner I've ever cooked. Daddy's now earned a sit down.
