I think I might be in the minority of people who actually enjoyed that half. At least with the context of knowing we usually improve in the second half. We had plenty of half-chances, improve on just a couple, stop falling over in midfield, and we'll put this to bed.

Very happy for James McConnell after hearing Slot praise him so much after the game. Out of that whole "Klopp's kids" group it's always felt like he's the one that gets most forgotten, despite arguably being the most impressive in the cup final. Looking forward to seeing more in the FA Cup.

Lots about us potentially getting a tough RO16 draw with the 15th-18th placed teams, but worth noting that City can no longer finish in those spots, Bayern's next game is Sl. Bratislava (H), Madrid - Brest (A), Juve - Benfica (H). Likely they all move up, and PSG with Stuttgart (A) might not win.

How long do we reckon until Chiesa can start a game for us? I'm hoping it'll be PSV next week but given how cautious we've been with his fitness I can see us waiting until Plymouth. Would love to see more of him from the left too rather than just as a Salah backup.
