Incarnate: pg 1 - 3

These are the introductory pages of a story I’m working on, “Incarnate”.

A god festering on its island paradise finds a seedling of meaning in its obsession over a man, a man seeking purpose and acceptance becomes trapped in a beautiful nightmare.

Image of alien, pale figure tenderly holding a human man. Sprouts burst from holes in the man’s body, and in the background dark fruits and poisonous plants expand from both figures. “I knew it was dead before it had a chance to live. But I am weak.”

Image montage: Pale figure on a cliff facing an ocean. “Even though it hurts me again, and again…” Three mutated human figures, one screaming. “These things I’ve done for you.” A man with white hair and red eyes seductively licks the shaft of a dick. “The shapes I’ve contorted myself into for your acceptance. For your pleasure.”

Pale figure watching as human man talks animatedly. “But I would do anything…” The two figures walk off, oblivious to a twisted mass of plant, animal, and people behind them melting and wailing. “…to bask in the warmth of your company.”
