Right now on AC Transit, people who pay with cash to ride the bus pay more than people who use Clipper or contactless bank cards.

This means people with the least resources often pay the most to ride the bus.

Starting Tuesday, SF's 33 automated speed enforcement cameras will begin giving out citations. Until now, they've been giving out $0 warnings. Officials say the cameras have already helped reduce speeding on problem streets.
