Why was voting "no" acceptable until just a few hours ago? This morning, I went to work feeling reassured after reading an article where he said, "Dems are united in voting no." So what changed this afternoon? Did Trump call him?
Okay so, is Schumer voting for the CR because shutting down the government is worse? If so, why? And does the DNC support it? If not, why not? The problem with all this is that WE DO NOT KNOW.

Yes, it’s crucial that we support each other and remember that we are not alone in this. For our collective mental well-being, let's ensure nobody feels they have to carry the burden by themselves.
So much profound beauty in our world. But it seems the forces unable to see beyond their own wealth, power, and egos are in the ascendant right now.
