Yikes that cold weather is blowing in. Took the puppy for a long jog on the nature trail early this morning so he got some good exercise before the nasty weather comes in.

Mr. Puppy Butt had his second vet visit since I adopted him. He just had some booster shots, a few of the ones he got a few weeks ago required a second dose. He did great, and everyone there loves him. He's such a gem, all the staff had to have a turn petting him.

At least we didn't get as much snow as was predicted. New puppy seems to find snow a very interesting substance to dig in. Hopefully they get the sidewalks clear here soon, so he can see more of it than just as far as I can manage with my walker for him to pee.

I wonder how many fireworks and gunshots I'll hear tonight. We heard one firework about 30 minutes ago. I don't yet know how the pup will respond to noises like that, but he definitely popped his head up and looked around when we heard the one single boom earlier.

I'm wondering if the de minimis ban is partly to try and stop trans people from DIYing HRT, since they're seeming to push in the direction of banning HRT for trans people entirely. I'm so angry at the "leftists" that kept telling people not to vote for Kamala who empowered a fascist takeover.

I brought home a new dog today. He's very smart, but also seemingly fully untrained. He's gotta be crated tonight for sure, and while he did voluntarily sleep in there early in the day, he fussed a bit at night. I found out that dog calming music seems to work though, it's helping him settle.
