Today, it's with great honour and deep pride that I see my brother Hussein all- Umari officially recognised as a national hero, for me he has always been a hero and this recognition is a beautiful tribute to his courage , selflessness and love for others.

Now that the Chch terror attack inquest has concluded, I feel optimistic.Two things i wanted 1) Truth about my brother 2) how do we mitigate such thing again , & i feel thru the awesome legal team i had , this was achieved indeed

I feel like I have been living under a rock, emotionally exhausted from the inquest into the Christchurch terror attack , all the preparation but finally some good news 🥳❤️🥹

A young child was assaulted at the rally for Palestine in Tāmaki today, hit in the head with a shovel by a counter-protester.

Police had earlier been alerted to the shovel-wielder in the crowd but took no action to remove the person or their weapon.

Just horrific.

One thing which hasn't been widely highlighted in the chch attack inquest coverage , how some witnesses had identical paragraphs in their statements to the comma, it was just * chefs kiss* the most beautiful cross examination to watch. Something like "Well it didnt write itself , so did you copy"

They focus of today's topic in the chch terror attack inquiry :
1.45 police communication centre wrote "linwood mosque is potential danger " and at 1.53 linwood attack happened . That is the key question , why wasn't it taken seriously and prioritised accordingly

Day 1 of inquiry into Christchurch terror attack , and i don't know what i can say coz suppression order is confusing asf , but holy heck when my brother was mentioned a few times , I felt so proud over and over again 🥹 I'll keep going till I'm able to tell his exact story 🙏 one day

Tommorow begins the inquest into the chch terror attacks for six weeks . In the absence of a trial i am anxious when facts are relayed and examined, however I hope for justice , truth and accountability to come out 🙏inshallah ya rab. I owe pursuant of truth to my brother and for a better tommorow .

Does international law mean anything if no one is willing to uphold it?

This is me trying to ask MSD case manager whether I qualify for something since July 💀. I get ghosted for weeks, The process is already dehumanising enough and they want to do benefit sanctions, invest more in tax fraud, I'm sure millions will be found there
