Iris is considering what it will mean to become a Fae and the responsibilities and needs that come with that. She wants to help people. But she is a bit afraid of the change. Tomorrow she also becomes a Young Adult, so there are a lot of things moving and evolving.

After her last prom, Iris decided to take the step, seeing Clover ready to follow his dreams, which inspired her to stop fantasising about becoming a fairy and decided to make it happen.

Avery knelt down and it broke him to see that he scared her once more. Even when he doesn't want to hurt her it's inevitable. Part of him wanted to just go away in that moment because he thought he's not enough and he'll always hurt her and another part of him, just wanted to never leave her side.
