Private Joseph Beard from Heald Green, Cheshire served with the 9th bn Cheshire Regiment in WW1 having signed up in Chester.

17 April 1918 Beard was KIA near Ypres and is buried at Mendinghem Military Cemetery

I forgot how expensive Cheshire Oaks by me, can be for a Polo shirt, rarely in my size. £20 to £30, you will be lucky to get any change out £50 for 2. So I went to Matalan and Sports Direct, I get 2 polo shirts in each one and in my size, a total of £35.00.

For me, when I see a book, if the picture or the written on the back (paperbacks) don’t grab my attention, I won’t buy it. But the hardest part for me, is what to read next if I have just finished one, from over 50 in my TBR pile

Harry Thomas Farr was born in 1890, Kensington, London. He was the son of William Farr and Alice Grant.
In 1913 he married Gertrude Lydia Young. Harry and Gertrude had one daughter. #WW1
