I'm gonna announce this new project soon, I swear, I just want to at least get the script for Act 1 fully done. I'm still debating if I want to make Act 1 alone the demo or make it Act 1 & 2, but for now it's just words on the doc and some very rough assets.

The writing in this game easily goes toe to toe with my fave VN, Slay The Princess. It's dark, brooding, and the horror is deeply uncomfortable as Demian tries to navigate their life. This game is a beautiful piece of literature that deserves to become a classic. Literal 10/10 game, no notes.

A fan comic for VLT (Veins Like Tapeworms). An arm is waving from around the corner to another room. Their disembodied voice says: "Hey xxx(their deadname is crossed out). All ready for school? That's my xxx (agab censored), always a go getter." Demian looks distraught, eyes wide: "That's not how he talks to me. That's not him. That's not him. Who are you? Why? Why are you using his voice? He's never said those words to me. Never." Their "father" continues: "But xxx, isn't this what you've always wanted? You want him to love you, right? Don't you think you should be grateful?" Continuing, now with Demian standing looking ahead at their "father"'s arm. "Father": No, you could never really be happy, could you? You're such a parasite. Don't make me laugh. Love? is that what you want? Love? (written in red). And what makes you think you deserve something like that? Are you crazy? Things like you don't get to feel wants. You're nothing but a burden. Longing for someone who was never really there in the first place." Now missing from the ever darkening room in the distance, their "father" continues: "It's fitting, isn't it? You've always wanted to be left alone." (written in red): "So, why aren't you happy?" Demian is drawn squeezing their eyes shut, face wrinkled, contorted in sorrow as they sob hard. Lots of tears and snot drip from their reddened face, hurt and lonely. And angry.
