A few days ago, 'twas my mother's birthday. My brother visited with her grandsons. She had a happy day.
However...
I couldn't shake off this feeling we failed her, a single mother of two, her efforts to raise us alone...
Mentally slumped then but kinda recovered since.

As I get older, anxiety 'n' depression have grown incredibly. Both or either rarely happened younger, however, it began to grow a bit over a decade ago. Their growth then became exponential the last few years unfortunately.
