#Hobbystreak day 241. Well I got my flu shot last Monday which of course means I have now caught a cold. About the only thing I had the energy to do was prime some minis but it's one step close to having a painted 500 points of Cathay.

#hobbystreak day 239. Well with one dying desk lamp it was a bit hard to get anything done. Instead I started working on the narrative for the Warhammer Old World campaign I will be running for friends starting next year and army building.

#Hobbystreak day 238. A different kind of project today. Since moving to this place in 2023 I haven't been able to host game nights and it's always made me a bit sad. I am on step one of fixing up my dining room to be a better game space. The next step is to find a 6x4 table.

I hate modern software so fucking much. I got a wild hair to replay Halo and I cant even get the Master Chief collection to get past logging in with my MS account. I am going to have to crack a game I legally bought like 3 years ago

#Hobbystreak day 227. Battletech campaign Sunday once again. The Cavaliers raid against the rebel primary supply depot was a success! We managed to pillage 30 containers of enemy supplies along with a Savior recovery vehicle before flattening the entire depot and withdrawing.

I feel like the loss of games running on custom engines is a root cause for how bland gaming looks now. Feels like everything outside Indy games have lost any unique style and I can only play so many pixel platformers about depression
