Today I’ll be attending the 30th Annual Texas Book Festival, which takes place in downtown Austin around and on the grounds of the Texas State Capitol. This year, the Texas Book Festival invites more than 300 authors and includes more than 200 sessions for book-lovers to attend. Tune in for updates!

The Texas Supreme Court recently ruled that judges have the right to refuse to perform weddings that go against their religious beliefs, in response to Judge Dianne Hensley’s lawsuit challenging her sanction for declining same-sex ceremonies.
