An easy analogy I've used to describe when I write would be comparing it cooking a meal. Sometimes you enjoy the process. Other times you look forward to the end product more. It really depends on the day. Same thing could be said for making art, or other creative endeavors

For Act II, things will get much darker as we deal with the Underworld and the slowly progressing madness of a particular character.
You will also find the tension between Li Wei and Zhen Xue grow drastically. Their push and pull dynamic was so incredibly fun to write. I can't wait to draw them

Back when I was creating Zhen Xue, I could never find his motivation to stay a prince, so I scrapped it. He's now a fugitive, using himself as a decoy to help restore faith in the royals for his brother to excel and become a good king that he never was. "Character development" ahh vibes ✨
