“Comparison is the thief of joy.” I have to remind myself, not to compare my journey to other authors, who may be more prolific. Aspiring writers should do the same! Also, I love reading in all genres. A great book is a great book, no matter the genre. Thank you for having me tonight. Stay cozy!

Read a ton of cozy mysteries, then don’t be afraid to use your own voice. The more you write, the more you learn about how to write, what works and what doesn’t. It helps to read about story structure, but make everything your own.
