Survived an end-of-year lunch with the moms from my 2yo’s class at daycare… how some of those women thought they were being subtle gossiping about people who were right there is absolutely beyond me. “We’re laughing with you not at you!”-type of mean girl shit 😬

On this day 6 years ago I left work an hour early to meet my then-fiancé at the ward office to get married. To this day I have absolutely zero regrets we never had a wedding. ☺️💚

A different big project has popped up and it is super duper urgent. The whole thing is so crazy it could be the plot of a whole new novel, which is fun, but right now I’m living it and definitely not having fun. 😂

😕: have a lot of setup so far, so I’m worried if I don’t add in some element of tension soon it’s going to be really boring.
😭: tried to brainstorm some working titles but everything my brain came up with seemed incredibly clichéd.

Do you ever find yourself glad you went for the cheapest possible option for your kids?
We debated getting cute beds for our kids’ room, but decided simple futons would probably be safest for now. More nights than not, we find 2 asleep UNDER her futon mattress, on the cold hard floor 😂

Do you ever find yourself glad you went for the cheapest possible option for your kids?

2’s asthma has improved so much she’s now on the lowest steroid dosage. Her allergies are also much better so she’s going to be able to sit with the other kids and eat the regular menu at daycare! 😍

While writing I suddenly wasn't sure if the way I was visualizing the sun coming into the different rooms would actually be possible. I created a map of the first location in my story using Google Sheets, so I didn't write that many words, but at least now my brain is calm again. 😮💨

While writing I suddenly wasn't sure if the way I was visualizing the sun coming into the different rooms would actually be possible. I created a map of the first location in my story using Google Sheets, so I didn't write that many words, but at least now my brain is calm again. 😮💨

Today is いい夫婦の日 (good marriages day) in Japan. It’s not an official holiday or anything but more a play on alternative reading for the date (11-22)
