What if Anne de Bourgh kept a journal? And what if that journal told a tale far darker than Miss Austen ever imagined for her?

Enjoy my newest serial, The Diary of a Blighted Heiress: Told with not nearly enough sense and in a style that is entirely too morose.

If you feel overwhelmed and powerless to stop the tide, I understand, but you’re not.

A million people taking small, daily actions can make a difference.

I created We (the people) Dissent. It’s a publication where I compile ways to help from dozens of sources and list it in bullet point. 🔗⬇️

CALLING all who want to help, but feel overwhelmed.

I have one mediocre superpower... the ability to organize information.

My new substack will be a place where I will post info about protests, strikes, call campaigns, and boycotts, and disseminate the details.

My novel comes out on MY BIRTHDAY 🎉, and, as a present to me, and I ordered 150 copies.

Mad? I prefer willfully delusional.

It is a romp through a Jane Austen’s world, well, if there was magic and dragons.🐉

It is a fact that teachers conspire to exact revenge on parents by keeping recorders in the curriculum.

Why else would you sell an instrument that sounds like herd of llamas in the final throes of death for $4 to hundreds of children?

Here’s the quiet part:

Society belittles romance lit, indie authors, and books in general because these spaces are largely populated by women.

Though women hold the purse strings in general, this is one field where they also create the product.

And society hates that.

At a Deaf community event, several signers complimented my son. They said he was bright. They were impressed by his language skills.

I want to cry.

I learned ASL to give him language. Most days, I feel inadequate.

To hear his language skills praised tells me that I did this one thing right.
