Realization hits me like a brick wall. I know why Hadley has been upset with me, but the pieces of the puzzle I thought I’d already solved begin clicking into place. Her entire life, everyone has tried to objectify her. As much as I’d like to say I’m different, I’m not. Not after what I did. She thought she could trust me. Instead, I proved to be just another asshole looking at her like an object, even if that wasn’t my intention.

I started this account in February in the hopes of reaching maybe 100 people. Earlier this week, I hit 500 followers. More than that, I've found a community of people who cheer each other on and support one another. With the year coming to a close, it feels like the perfect time to say thank you to everyone who has supported me this year. 500 is just a number, but the writing community on bsky is everything to me.
