I watched "Cannonball Run" (1981) for the 1st time in decades last night. It's not available for streaming or purchase, but my local public library had a copy. Not quite as funny as I remembered, but still good. The outtakes at the end were great & of course, Adrienne Barbeau & Valerie Perrine

I guess this is supposed to mean films in the 2020s are infinitely better than anything made in the 1980s?

Everyone thinks they're cool with this until "what has never been thought before" contradicts their social or political biases.

My wife had to work that night and I remember her insisting I turn off all our computers. I did but stayed up watching Cartoon Network with my kids and turned the PCs back on at 12:03 a.m. or something close to that.
