Overnight bread this is bread for everyone no knead and ready to go in oven in morning. Crusty white country loaves. It doesnt always have to be sourdough. This is fantastic bread all homemade 4 ingredient no sugar no preservatives

I have been thinking about endings -due to bureaucratic requirements my court date has been adjourned. Which means a delay caused by the ex yet again.
So i have to wait to Finally legally officially extricate myself.
I am exhausted by this process and another delay.
I just want to be free.

My ASD beautiful 19yr son.
Just ate a whole serve - 700ml plate of homemade fried rice.
Last night I made homemade thai green curry chicken i made in slow cooker. That i served with jasmine rice.
So i turned 1 and 1/4 cups cooked rice into fried rice tonight.

I'm in shock...

Smart technology in my house extends beyond a ring doorbell or "home assistant /home hub"
Today my washing machine reminded me that after 50 washes I need to run the tub clean cycle.
And my fridge filter also sent alert to be cleaned.
In perimenopause I am grateful in the brain fog for the reminders

This makes me so VERY Happy - 4 loaves of Sourdough Baked today. The cut one - next photo those slices with extra virgin olive oil and aged balsamic vinegar is sublime 👌

2 cups of sourdough discard 2 cups of Bulk Pancake mix @taralouisesmartsaving mixed with 3 eggs (my eggs were a little small), 1/2 cup water waffle = 18 small waffles we had for breakfast 12 have into freezer they freeze beautifully then toasted in toaster or reheated/toasted in Airfryer perfect.

Last year I was pressured into "donating" to the annual charity day at my place of employment a Not for profit organisation - with a whole new board and new CEO in place there was pressure and uncertainty everywhere.
So I gave money I didn't have because I believed my was precarious 1/3

I'm having a soft drink.

Batch of Bagels just in time for the weekend 16 Bagels a dozen for freezer and 4 left out for immediate consumption.
I love to make these at home they are Multi step but so worth the effort.

For all those sound asleep MORNING people who went to bed at 8:30pm
I completed a whole day of work between 9pm- 1:30am.
1 food break strawberries and yoghurt 1 cup of tea.
I will go to bed sleep until 8:30a get up and do all the household chores and errands on day off and ahead for Friday.

Sourdough is a thing of beauty that feeling of creating something from scratch 😍 so satisfying. The taste the nourishment of sourdough is honestly why we all bother to make and eat it.

Whether you call this Chicken soup for the soul - chicken noodle soup or Jewish penicillin. This whole free range chicken cooked in slow cooker for 6 hours turned into soup with chicken legs and thighs shredded and egg fettuccine it really does soothe the soul. And breast meat for additional meal.

I still feel so many things and there is still a fog of grief.
I dont have any regrets,there was nothing left unsaid and nothing left unresolved between us.
Grief continues to surprise and catch me at odd times.
It is true that grief comes in waves.
