Geekiest moment of my career in #scientificoceandrilling. #DSDP Leg1 Site 1 Core 1R (and 1M too 😁). It got re-curated a few years ago (hence modern D-Tube and #IODP label). I am really grateful to everyone at the #GCR and especially #ECORD and #MagellanPlus for funding our workshop participation!

Geekiest moment of my career in #scientificoceandrilling. #DSDP Leg1 Site 1 Core 1R (and 1M too 😁). It got re-curated a few years ago (hence modern D-Tube and #IODP label). I am really grateful to everyone at the #GCR and especially #ECORD and #MagellanPlus for funding our workshop participation!
#nannofossils have such an amazing structural complexity making them a joy to work with. And my phone becoming a real asset as a microscope camera for my Zeiss Axio.A1. Here a peak at Reticulofenestra umbilicus from the base of zone NP16 in the Eocene
