The fact of the matter is, nobody made Charlie Kirk do anything. He wanted his listeners to think worse of Black people, and he went to some lengths to make that happen. The fact that he wrapped it in a little gauze of "If I did it . . . liberals made me" excuses nothing.

Slavery was nothing less than physical & psychological trauma—built on sex trafficking and rape, on brutalization & the destruction of families, on cultural erasure & economic exploitation.
