Jfc..remember last week, my niece had a bad car accident? She totaled my sister's only car? Well, today my sister wasn't feeling well. She went to urgent care and they said they thought she was having a heart attack due to elevated things in her bloodwork and she had to go to the ER.

Ok, it's not as bad as I thought about my niece. Something happened between her 4th & 5th. They are actually sending her home, which... how can they do that? I guess they can't do anything for her but give her pain meds & tell her not to move? I'm very confused why they aren't keeping her, honestly

Haaa..I went outside to shovel, at least a walkway, for when my daughter got home. These gentleman were plowing the neighbors driveway so I asked them to do mine too. It was worth every penny, lol. And this way she doesn't have to do it in the dark tonight.

On my way back to Dublin from Brussels. But it's delayed an hour so just sitting here with my feet up. I don't think my feet have ever hurt so much, lol.

Actually , Belgium as a whole had been marvelous. It's definitely underrated as a place to visit. And the beer is top notch, lol

Ugh..my daughter got pickpocketed. They took her wallet with all her credit cards, but she doesn't care. She's like..eh.. I'll just put a stop on them. No biggie. They weren't getting mine. I was wearing my purse under one of those hideous rain ponchos. My daughter called me a walking condom lol

I feel much better. I put on different shoes last night. Went to a grungy beer bar (Belgium is known for their beer) then went back to the hotel bar and had a nightcap. Slept deep for at least 8 hours, had a delish breakfast of waffles (they are known for that too) & now on my way to Brussels

So far today ...In Bruges...
Did a canal tour, the architecture is amazing, lunch of mussels & fries & creme brulè for lunch. Spent way too much money buying Belgian chocolate, then a nap. Tonight may be more xmas markets, depending on the rain.

Last night in Strasbourg. Just beautiful. Ignore my picture. I was running on 21 hours of no sleep and a long travel day.
The food was spaetzle with a creamy chicken/mushroom sauce & vin chaud (hot mulled wine). Every hour the tree has a light show set to xmas music. Just magical!
