ALERT: On Nov. 24, 2025, Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem published a notice terminating Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for Burma (Myanmar). 

TPS benefits will end 60 days after the notice is published in the Federal Register.

Cuts to Medicaid will hurt health centers and the patients they serve. I’ll be fighting to stop any and all cuts to this program.

E-Verify is back online as of Oct. 8 after the shutdown pause. Employers must resume I-9 verifications—deadline is the 3rd business day after hire. Counting from Oct. 8, that’s today (Oct. 13) or tomorrow (Oct. 14) if closed for the holiday.

USCIS has implemented a new method for paying fees. USCIS will continue to accept checks, money orders, credit, and debit payments until Oct. 28, 2025. After Oct. 28, USCIS will only accept ACH debit transactions.
