Restorations in progress. I’m digging through the archives to bring out the very best for the new Atomos website. All this art will be available soon, framed, and ready to hang. Locally I can deliver, all others can be shipped worldwide.

604 Decades… good to see some of my @citranddiscorder comrades talking about the state of the local Vancouver music scene both past and present. #junos

I revisit this video now and then. A look back at my misspent youth and my first real solo art show!

Today’s the day, American clients, you will now have to pay a 25% tariff on art crossing your border. This is a tax that you are responsible for, not me (don’t make me explain this again). I won’t adjust my prices to swallow those costs, you already get the exchange discount. Thank you.

Oh baby, how I’ve missed you. Winter is too damn long. I’ll take these mild grey days over pouring rain any time. Taking care of my mom full-time has slowed my life down considerably, so I soak in as much beauty as I can.

Just got my new Pela Case phone cases! Loving the idea so far. They’re sustainable, compostable, and best of all, made in Canada. Even better, they’re from Kelowna, B.C., ordering cases from the U.S. was always a hassle with duties and the exchange so l’m hoping this is a great alternative.

Caught the Mercury Rev show tonight at the Fox. Beautiful.

Canadian’s fighting for America while they’re attacking Canada is such a Canadian thing to do. That’s why we don’t want to be American.

One month in and it’s already looking like a rocky ride. But I’m looking forward to a fresh platform and posting new work in Flashes ⚡️

Polished up these Swedish beauties yesterday. Making me feel closer to summer as it snows outside.

Maybe it’s because I’ve spent time in advertising (on both sites of the border). The U.S. and Canada in a nutshell. youtu.be/O7oD_oX-Gio?...

It’s been a heavy few days, nature wrapped us in her cold caress. Every flake a tale untold.

When you’re involved in the decision about awarding a high-value, multi-year contract away from a U.S. company to a local Canadian business… it’s about more than just groceries and subscriptions.

I’ve never received so many messages from Americans saying they’re sorry, that’s supposed to be Canada’s job.

Maybe I don’t post this enough

All US subscriptions gone. Retail apps gone, keeping social, essentially it’s free. This is about the pocketbook. As stated I already lost one US commission because the client refused to acknowledge the 25% tariff. Wanted me to cover it. Nope. That’s between you and orange Jesus.

Deleting American apps Saturday. Starting with Amazon, Uber, Netflix. US subscriptions gone. Changed big US parts order to Germany instead. No travels across the border. No US retailers. Does it matter? I don’t know, but I’m doing it because I Can(ada). Thank your leader.

I took this long exposure of Dunsmuir House a few years back. Now just a pile of rubble. This is one of the greatest shames I’ve seen happen in this city in quite a while. Not a lot of hope for the heritage building’s we have left.

Only in Canada would we interview someone ringing in the New Year sweating it out in a Winnipeg sauna. Thank you CBC.

Sad to see this platform basically turn into Twitter. Politics and hate are not what I’m looking for.

The Sticky sow opened tonight. Hit the artist’s preview with my mom. She has never been to one of my art shows so it was a special night. Unfortunately we had to boogie before the crowds showed up. Go check it out. Open tonight and tomorrow at Gallery 881, at 881 Hastings St., Vancouver.
