Mala Radhakrishnan
@atomicromances.bsky.social
Chemistry Poet (and Professor). Author of _Atomic Romances, Molecular Dances_ and _Thinking, Periodically_. Computational Biophysical Chemist, Wife, Mom, Friend. I love Chemistry so much I'm made up entirely of atoms and molecules!
Like gases are both creativ'ty and pleasure
(They shrink when the system is put under pressure).

And unlike electrons, activ'ty will max
When you're given the time to completely relax.

Walking facilitates brain innovation;
It's clearly an active conformation
That catalyzes idea formation
Through allosteric regulation!

Make bonds and *solutions* that all can rely on.
(Don't passively watch like a spectator ion!)

Aging for Chemists...

Adsorbed to the couch is where I remain,
With loads of conformational strain!

STATES WHO MATTER

A gas: who, with others, has brief intersections,
Collides with a "hi," but then, no connections.

A liquid: finds shoulders to settle upon,
Who dabbles in love, but always moves on.

A solid: with bonds quite resistant to sever,
Like atoms in diamonds, whose friends are forever.
